Mackenzie's Journey into the Culture of Music

Hello, everyone! My name is Mackenzie Weatherford. I am from Darlington, South Carolina. I use music to calm me down or to cope with different events. I am also an athlete, so I use music for a lot of things especially during workouts. I use music to focus and maintain focused.  So, here is a step into my musical culture,      I chose this song, because I used to be in a really dark place in life. This song brought me out of this darkness into the light. I heard this song in church one Sunday and it stuck with me. It challenged me to turn my life around and I did that. I have learned to live with the struggles of life through this song. This is my Go-To song. I chose this song, because it soothes me. I personally love the artist himself and nothing will ever change that. If I am ever doing schoolwork or just need some downtime, I find myself listening to this.
